Shut off the water valves to the inlet and outlet pipes if needed. Place a diverter or shut off valve on the side of the pump that suctions. We are a smud pg e certified installer. Now your new pool pump should be ready to use.

Attach the pump to the motor with nuts and bolts. Attach a line to the side of the pump with the outlet. Before installing a pool pump you ll need to remove the old one. Attach the water line that is coming from the pool to the suction side of your pump.

Open the pump s pressure release valve to relieve any pressure and then close.

Turn your new pool pump on and check that water is moving through the pump s suction lines. Open the inlet shutoff valves until water is circulating throughout the pump.
